Inversion boots allow you to recover quickly from compression fatigue caused by jogging, aerobic training, stepping, bicycling and weight training. Inversion boots counteract the downward pull of gravity. Hanging in the inverted position brings instant relief to many forms of back pain and spasms associated with consistent downward gravitational pull on the spine, discs and muscles. Just a few minutes a day are sufficient to spread apart painful compressed discs. Back, neck and shoulder muscles are also stretched, further increasing flexibility and reducing pain. Recommended by doctors and used in hospital back clinics nationwide. Boots feature thick, comfortable, contoured support pads and have a heavy-duty single-action locking mechanism with built-in safety lever. Extra pads allow easy adjustment for all size users. | | | Features: | |

wonderful surpriseAug 07, 2010 The exercises that can be performed with these and the pull up bar are very helpful. Abs are very tough but I have seen very encouraging results. As other reviewers have mentioned if one has slim ankles there is some soar felt. More padding must be added. Other than that is a very good buy, highly recommended. This is part of my basic gym now.
I do like them BUT the pads came off both and you have to glueJul 22, 2010 them with a special glue that the company said is called Goop you can get from any hardware store etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Solid, but not adjustableMar 31, 2010 They're working well for me. However, they're not adjustable (like the plastic ones that sell for more $).
Good to Go!Feb 27, 2010 The boots do what they're made to do. I'm 270lbs and they hold me up just fine. I use them twice a week for intense 30min ab workout and thus far(3 weeks) all is good. I will say that they do pinch in the front so I must use them with boots instead of sneakers and the pads had to be re-glued(super glue worked like a charm). I think a big part of that is because I'm so heavy. All that said; Great product and I'm happy.

Very very painfulFeb 09, 2010 I found these boots to be extremely painful at the tops of my feet especially. It is crucial to be able to adjust the tightness of the boots, which this model lacks. Get the Teeter Hang Ups boots instead. Don't let the fact they are plastic deter you, they are incredibly safe and comfortable. They have straps to adjust tightness, the perfect type of foam, and are lightweight. I couldn't stand these boots for more than a min due to the severe pain, but with the Teeter Hang ups I can stay upside down for as long as I want. The only side effect is pins and needles, no pain.
