4Amazing Improvement!Jun 27, 2009
As a 39-year-old I've noticed deep nasolabial forming on my face since my mid twenties causing a sad, sagging appearance. I absolutely did not want that severe, windblown look of a facelift. A year ago I tried injections of juvederm to plump out the lines. Not only did it cost a fortune, it caused broken capillary damage to my skin and it caused my face to look more puffy! When I smiled my face looked distorted. It was not the look I was going for. Finally I researched face exercise and tried Carole Maggio's program. After a couple of months I was pleased with the results all over my face. It helped reduce puffiness by getting the blood flowing and giving my face muscles a workout. It made it look toned and youthful. I haven't gotten any wrinkles as a result of the facial movements. A friend who hadn't seen me for six months recently saw me and asked if I had juvederm injections again because the "smile lines" were reduced so much. I was happy to say "no and never again!"

My only critique of the book is that it would be to show a diagram of the muscles worked on the same page of each exercise.

Facercise is an excellent reference for self improvement of the entire face and neck area of the body. Anyone can use it and improve their looks with the daily regimen.

I love this book. I bought her first book 10 years ago. I had become desperate, considering plastic surgery. Because of her work, I can live with myself, and I believe I look younger than I am. I had started to feel my face becoming loose, particulary my jawline and forehead. And, my nose was getting longer!! I used the excercises from her book, along with her videos, to work my problem areas. Now, ten years later, her exercises are still working for me. And, my face feels great! I no longer feel as if my face is sagging or I have to "hold it up." Bless you, Carole!

Very oddly written. No real description of how to do these exercises- just very brief unclear wording. In addition there are exercises where one is told to do nothing but "visualize" - what?? No exercise, but visualize...I don't need a book to tell me how to do nothing...

This book is awesome! I am 49 years old and look 35. I have been doing Carol's exercises since I was 37. People are stunned when I tell them how old I am.
