Stands the test of timeDec 03, 2009 I'm a jump rope enthusiast and used this rope at least 20 minutes 3 days a week for 2yrs . . . I'm still using this original one, but it's finally showing some performance anxiety so I'm here to order another one. I'm 6'5" and the length is perfect.

Easy to adjust, but hard to straightenAug 22, 2009 Pro: It was easy to take out the weights and snip the ends to adjust the rope length. If you just stuff the rope in the handles w/o cutting it, the rope will not rotate as it is designed to do.
Con: I do find it difficult to straighten out the rope, but I think it's fairly characteristic of any plastic rope that has been bent and packed in a small package.
Neutral: I find myself not using the weights when working out. It makes it harder to learn to jump rope (I'm a novice) and you'll get more out of targeted weight training. ALso, I jump rope indoors on a low-price rug. Haven't seen any problems, but I don't recommend it if you have a nice rug b/c you'll risk ruining it every time the rope hits the rug.
Well-made jumpropeJul 15, 2009 This jumprope does not disappoint. It has smooth, turning action and a nice weight to it, even without the steel weights inserted in the handles. As another review has mentioned, adjusting the rope to a shorter length means that the weights do not fit in the handles, but I don't mind this because I still feel like my upper body gets a workout. I found it easy to do a variety of tricks with the rope as well.
