Solid and works wellSep 28, 2009 This unit is solid and works when my back feels "tweaked". The cuffs cut off blood flow when used without pants or shoes, but I have pretty skinny ankles. When you wear socks or shoes this problem does not exist. It takes up quite a bit of room, but I knew that when I bought it. Just don't throw your back out trying to carry the box in your house or moving it around!

Love it so far!Aug 25, 2009 I suffer from FMS (Fibromyalgia) and i have tried everything under the sun to alleviate pain. I am only on day 2 with the table so no changes yet but i did want to add that this table was EXTREMELY easy to put together unlike what i have read and i purchased this one because of the good reviews on the ankle clasps. I find it to be very easy on the ankles. When it starts to slightly irritate me i either throw on shoes or thick socks. As for now all i can say is that its very relaxing to me to use this a few times a day. I will update my progress soon as i am sure anyone with this horrible syndrome would love to know if this table helps.
Love It!Jul 27, 2009 We bought the Paradigm 500 Inversion Table System after reading the reviews of many, some of which were more expensive. This does all that we need it to do. I have degenerative disc disease in my lower back - arthritis, bulging discs, etc. It hasn't cured my back - nothing short of surgery will - but it sure gives me relief when my SI joint locks up. My husband doesn't have the same problems as I have but likes the stretch it gives his back.
Paradigm 500 inversion tableJul 11, 2009 This is a truly great product. I am glad I bought this one, not the cheaper Paradigm version, and also glad I didn't spend a wad for the Cadillac versions. It took an hour and a half to put together, but not difficult. I use it every single day for about 40 minutes, and my lower back pain is benefiting from that. I have it adjusted to about 30 degrees because at my age a full inversion might be dangerous for the cerebral arteries. The foot restraints are not uncomfortable, at least at that angle, and the entire inversion table is very comfortable, easy to adjust for different people. I recommend using the highest setting on the hinge when you assemble it to make it easy to tilt and return to vertical. It's difficult to change that after you assemble. Everybody in the house uses it.
Paradigm 500Jul 06, 2009 I selected this unit overs others based on the locking system being more comfortable than others. Though I like the ease of the locking system, it still is not all that comfortable with only socks. I would recommend wearing shoes. I purchased this unit to relieve sciatica nerve condition. Not sure if the use of this device or other stretching techniques that I've been doing have relieve the pain. For those that haven't used one of these, there is considerable amount of pressure that you will feel in your head the more vertical you travel. I suggest you take it slow till you can get accustom to using one of these.
