Works GreatFeb 18, 2010 Does exactly what its supose to do! I had 300lb on it and it seems pretty stable!
Good inexpensive squat rack.Feb 03, 2010 This is a good squat rack for the money. It would be better if it was heavier gauge steel and had some type of spotter. I also would like it better if the back part of the "bar holder" extended up higher. I could have had all of that if I had another $200 to spend, but I didn't. That being said; I like it.

Great value, sturdy squat rack for your home gymJan 02, 2010 I bought this item for my garage Crossfit gym. Its a good value for the price. It was easy to assemble. The photo does not show the rack at full extension, but it does extend higher for back squats, front squats, and shoulder presses. I also bought a flat bench to go along with this item for bench pressing. Just be sure to brace the squat rack against a wall or something sturdy to prevent it from sliding back when racking the weight on the bench press. (And have a spotter!)
The only modification I made to this rack was to pad the hooks to prevent scratching of my olympic bar. The hooks are somewhat small and I would prefer higher backstops on them, but they work fine as is. I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it for home gym use.
The most weight I've had racked on this product was 250lbs. At that load, there weren't any problems with the rack.
