simple and easy to read.Mar 21, 2010 I'm at that middle age (eyes can't see up close) part of my life, and have had heart monitors that show many wonder items (that you don't want or need) and that you can't see.
This is different.
You can see (big numbers) the time.
Push one button, and see your heart rate (also big)
Don't know how long it's going to last, but, at $35, why would one worry?
Basic, Simple= goodMar 20, 2010 No bells and wistles but who really needs them anyway? This Timex HRM is all I need. The big thing for me is I can replace the batteries myself in both the transmitter and watch. The Polar brand you cannot. Good for the money
BFIReviewMar 19, 2010 This has been a great basic heart rate monitor. It doesn't do anything fancy, but you can change your own battery...which I think is a great thing. My last monitor, a Polar, had to be sent back to a service center every time you needed to change the battery. That was not only expensive, but inconvenient.
Timex heart monitor watch...great product, great price!Mar 17, 2010 I purchased this Timex watch because I do a lot of running and DVD work outs and wanted to track my heart rate. This watch is great because the digital readout it large enough where I don't have to stop to look at it, I can see it while still moving. To date, the watch is very accurate and does nearly everything I need it to do, plus the price and shipping time were extremely wonderful! Setup is very easy and the watch and heart rate strap are both comfortable and don't bother me while I'm working out. One feature that I would love to have is the calorie counter, but overall, I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.
My wife loves it!Mar 17, 2010 I got this as a gift for my wife, and she has been very pleased with it! She finds the interface easy to use, and the strap is not uncomfortable or an inconvenience. She also did not have any of the problems others reported with the strap not getting a reading. One nice added bonus she found was that the strap is able to be picked up by many of the machines in our YMCA, so she doesn't even have to look at the watch when using a treadmill, elliptical, etc. Great product, and a great price!
