Local Louisiana weather forecasts predict heavy rains beginning Tuesday night could produce flash flooding in the Baton Rouge area.

The Baton Rouge area will be under a flood watch from 7 p.m. Tuesday night until 7 p.m. Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.
