Two of the general contractors hired for the $10 billion are taking their vendor/supplier show on the road.
will be at the Cook Hotel and Conference Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 29.
This will be the opportunity for potential subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, or purveyors of professional services to share information with someone in person while putting a face with a name.
The contractors' lists of needs are lengthy and include, but are not limited to, glass & gazing, metal panels, painting, landscaping, pacing, cleaning/janitorial, wastewater pumping service, dumpsters and recycling, surveying, catering, and signage.
The contractors' mechanical and electrical subcontractors will also be at the events to talk about opportunities in their specialties and meet with potential vendors.
The majority of the jobs created by an estimated 5,000, will be during the construction phase.
Businesses from around the state have already begun to network with some of the key players in the Meta build.
