A man was found fatally shot in a Geronimo Street home Sunday night, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Update: Arrest made in connection with fatal shooting
The victim, Kevin Evans Jr., 40, died of multiple gunshot wounds in a residence in the 3900 block of Geronimo Street. His friends were making a welfare check on him shortly before 7 p.m. when they found his body and called 911, police said in a news release.
The investigation is ongoing.
