Morning commuters are in for potential headaches and delays Tuesday if they come through Interstate 10 at the Bonnet Carre spillway in St. Charles Parish.Â
Two crashes on both sides of the Spillway have delayed traffic. Heading out from New Orleans, the left lane is blocked at mile marker 217. Congestion reached I-310, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development at about 6:30 a.m.

Eastbound heading to New Orleans, there was a crash at mile marker 212 in Laplace that has backed up traffic to mile marker 210, according to as of 7:38 a.m.Â
