How can journalists, like James Finn, distort truth with half-truths and lies as in his "Trump is charging immigrants under a WWII-era law.” Is it really so difficult to be truthful and say this is about illegal immigration in the headline? President Donald Trump has stated he is for immigration, as long as it is pursued legally. The issue is illegal immigration.

I am part-Spanish on my father’s side and have several hundred Latina cousins, of Mexican descent, in Downey, California, just outside L.A., and every one of them will tell you the illegal immigrants in this country need to be thrown out. Why is it they see what Finn cannot? Why is it Laken Riley’s parents, along with so many other crime victims, see what Finn cannot?

In addition, Finn really made sure to say this is because of an "old" law. If this is an "old" law, then he should say the same thing about laws against theft and murder. Those laws go back to the Ten Commandments? Why don’t you call those laws "old" laws as well? U.S. immigration laws go back further than WWII — so I guess they’re "old" also? What hypocrisy!

I laughed at his comments about Trump redirecting federal law enforcement away from priorities, such as rooting out public corruption. I guess he was talking about rooting out the Biden administration public corruption? It’s easy to see how fervently the Department of Justice went after Hunter Biden.

Then he says these are the least-coveted assignments — so what? Apparently, Finn would prefer they do something like investigating President Trump again. The work they do is directed by the U.S. attorney general, just as was the case when the department was investigating President Trump, but now they’re finally doing something useful for the American people.
